Office to Housing Conversion

Last year we declared that New York City would lead the way on affordable housing in America by becoming a CITY of YES and we need everyone in the state on board to make it happen.

we are already seeing our plans come to life at 160 Water street in lower Manhattan, an office building that is now being converted into housing.

if we want this work to continue this year’s state budget must include programs that make it easier to convert offices into homes, incentives for the construction and preservation of affordable housing, assistance for NYCHA tenants, and host of other investments
